It’s been a while since i’ve started up the Delorean. Last trip we went to the start of the millennium when the Big Tymers owned the summer. This time let’s up the ante and see what this thing got. How about 16 years back?

It’s the top of ’97 and Bad Boy got it locked down. Nobody’s forgotten Biggie Smalls passing as he still has “Life After Death” in more ways than one. His album sales are seeing more success than he’d live to see & his label is striving. How so? Some dude Puffy put in these colorful, humorous videos dancing from uptown has been holding it all down. Yup, Ma$e is here & he brought all the Harlem swag with him (shit swag wasn’t even invited ye)t.

The young, Harlem nigga with the goldie sound? Nahhhhhh son, can you even remember when M A Dollar Sign E had it on smash? All them R&B remixes? Writing Diddy’s verse & still managing to write his own just that much better? He might of been numbero dos in the music videos but his spot was solidified at the top. Just the thought of it might make you wanna try the baggy shiny suit shit outside.  Harlem World might of made you the man you are today. Shit Betha more than likely your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper.

Lemme park this thing, we might be here for a while.

*Man i know the Lookin’ At Me video sucks horribly, but like there isn’t anything in the universe that can make this song wack.
